What is Direct Primary Care?

It is healthcare going back to its roots in which the doctor patient relationship is the focus without a middleman (insurance).

 

How does direct primary care work?

DPC is a subscription-based service in which the patient pays a monthly fee and has much easier access to medical care. There are no copays or hidden fees. Patients will have direct communication with me for health questions and appointment follow ups, longer non rushed appointments, and same or next day appointments for urgent issues.

 

Can I still use my insurance?

Your insurance will still be used for coverage of your lab and radiological bills and you will use your insurance with any specialists that you see. However, your insurance will not be used for my office visits.

 

Who is direct primary care for?

Direct primary care is for anyone who would like a more individualized approach to healthcare. DPC can be beneficial to everyone from a busy professional who wants to do a telehealth appointment instead of taking time off from work to a college student who may not have health insurance to a retired person who would like to have a doctor who has the time to spend explaining their medical care.
